Mechanical Workshop

• Description

The SRCiT Mechanical Workshop is open to the entire university community and has as its main objectives:

The manufacture of prototypes, designing and producing unique pieces or limited series for research and/or teaching projects.

The improvement and repair of devices.

The construction of technically complex equipment.

The Workshop has a space of 140m2, equipped with machines and tools necessary for mechanical design and manufacturing.

LAGUN CNC III milling machine 

Machine with Fagor CNC 8050 control, with bench capacity of 700x350 and head height of 400mm. Equipped with different radial and insert tools that allow machining of different types of materials ( stainless steel , steel and aluminum of different qualities, technical plastics, etc. ) and with hydraulic jaws and divider plate.

OPTIMUM L28HS CNC lathe

Machine with Sinumerik 808D SIEMENS control , and capacity of height between points of 169mm and distance of 430mm, maximum on bench 300mm. Capacity of 8 tools . Repeat accuracy 0.01mm. Equipped with different insert tools that allow machining of different types of materials ( stainless steel , steel and aluminum of different qualities, technical plastics, etc.)

PINACHO S-90/200 lathe

Manual machine with coordinates display,  equipped with quick-change turret and capacity between points of 700 and 300 of diameter on bench. Equipped with different insert tools that allow machining of different types of materials (stainless steel , steel and aluminum of different qualities, technical plastics, etc.)

Prusa 3D i3 printer

Printing machine with PLA material, capacity of 200x200 and height of 150mm.
