GC-HRMS

• Description

The Exactive GC is a high-resolution system consisting of a mass spectrometer and a gas chromatograph that provides high sensitivity for both targeted and untargeted analysis due to its high resolving power, mass accuracy, and linear dynamic range, provided by the Orbitrap technology.

• Technology

• TRACE 1310 GC gas chromatograph with the following characteristics:
  
  Connect Split / Splitless Instant Injector.
  
  Instant injector Connect programmable temperature vaporizer (PTV, which allows working at constant pressure, constant flow and programmable pressure or flow).
  
  TriPlus RSH Autosampler (equipped with a robotic tool for automated capabilities beyond liquid injection, headspace and solid phase microextraction (SPME).
• Electronic impact ionization source (EI)
• Chemical ionization source (IC) for acquisition with positive and negative chemical ionization.
• Ionic optics MS
• Orbitrap-type mass analyzer

The combination of these characteristics allows to obtain a resolving power of 50,000 (FWHM) to m/z 272, and to work in the range of masses between 30 and 3000 m/z.
